OUR STORY
My name is Josh Grantham, founder of Grantham Wood Works.
My wife, Cana and I met in 2012 at Camp Zephyr and married in 2015. We have two amazing boys, Silas and River. Cana and I both worked in non-profits the first few years of marriage. During that time I started in dabble in “furniture making” or at least what I thought it was. I remember the first piece I built for us was a media console that we still have in our home today. It’s always been a reminder to me of where I started and how far we’ve come.
Shortly after I completed that piece for us, Cana posted a few pictures and I had my first inquiry. The client said, “what do you charge?” to which I thought, that’s a great question. Ever since that point, we’ve been fortunate to have a running list of clients
on our calendar.
Over the years since beginning, we’ve poured back into our equipment to prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency. It’s been a constant learning experience and an understanding that there’s always room to improve and better our product. We take pride in knowing we’re in 100’s of homes in South Texas. We genuinely love what we do. From starting on our porch at Camp Zephyr to hopefully going full time and having a brick and mortar some time soon.
